Merchant onboarding

Use EasyOnboard to collect and submit acquiring applications.

Creating an ePay merchant account is not the same as getting an acquiring agreement.

An ePay merchant account provides access to ePay. An acquiring agreement allows the merchant to accept payments through an acquirer. When a merchant needs an acquiring agreement, use EasyOnboard to create and manage an onboarding application.

EasyOnboard can be used to onboard merchants to the acquirers supported through your ePay partnership.

Acquiring onboarding flow

  1. A partner identifies the merchant that needs an acquiring agreement.
  2. The partner creates an onboarding application.
  3. EasyOnboard collects the required company, ownership, person, and business information.
  4. The application is validated.
  5. The application is submitted to the relevant acquirer.

EasyOnboard collects the information, documents, and KYC/KYB data required to submit the merchant application. It does not replace the Partner Portal or Partner API: use those tools for merchant-account administration.

White-labelled EasyOnboard

Partners that want to own the merchant journey can offer acquiring onboarding through a white-labelled EasyOnboard portal.

The partner provides a branded onboarding portal while ePay and EasyOnboard provide the underlying onboarding infrastructure.

Contact support@epay.dk if you want to offer acquiring onboarding through your own branded portal.
